USAA 3,000,000 MILE COMMUTER CHALLENGE

Welcome to the USAA 3,000,000 Mile Commuter Challenge taking place in San Antonio a regional event involving thousands of working professionals throughout the greater San Antonio region who are doing their part to reduce traffic congestion and emissions by carpooling, vanpooling, walking, biking, telcommuting and taking mass transit.

The USAA 3,000,000 Mile Commuter Challenge was kicked off on January 13th by Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff, USAA President & CEO Josue Robles, Jr. and H-E-B COO Bob Loeffler. The USAA Challenge is projected to achieve its 3,000,000 mile goal by summer of '09 and in the process will eliminate 124,000 car trips while conserving 125,000 gallons of gas and preventing 6 tons of emissions.

This event is being sponsored by USAA, H-E-B and other local and national companies who are providing valuable rewards to participating commuters to thank them for clearing the roads and cleaning the air for all of us!

River Cities Rideshare users who rideshare during this time will automatically be counted as participants in the USAA Challenge as a group.
